Outspoken Kenyan Blogger, YouTuber and social media personality Edgar Obare has finally bowed to pressure and deleted some of his most controversial exposes which sparked heavy reactions online.
The three stories on Radio Presenter Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o, fellow YouTuber Terence Creative and ex-Tahidi High actress Jackie Matubia were some of his most popular and touched on controversial cheating allegations in the personalities’ respective dating lives.
Previously, the Gossip Guru loathed by celebrities but cherished by fans, did not feel jittery or compelled to bring down the stories despite the uproar they caused on social media.
Edgar has, however, decided to finally bring down the posts after a prolonged push-and-pull on social media with those involved.
Speaking to a popular Nairobi tabloid, he said that some of the celebrities started to send heavy threats with some even contemplating suing.
“I pulled them down. Some out of mercy with the celebs reaching out, others were trying to sue me.”
He added that in future, he might tone down on the amount of content he puts up for the sake of his personal and family’s safety
