Harmonize
Tanzanian Singer Harmonize is still managing to book gigs in Kenya even after walking out on Journalists during an interview a week ago.
According to a report, the Konde Gang CEO was to perform as the headline act during Jubilee’s concert in Kibra on Sunday. However, Deputy President William Ruto’s team didn’t have his fee ready, which totaled Sh 3 million.
It is revealed that he demanded to be be paid upfront before landing in the country but there was disagreements among Jubilee Party Officials on whether it was worthy to pay the Sina singer that amount of money for a brief performance.
Harmonize was to land in the country on Saturday but when the Ruto’s camp insisted on paying him after performing, he blatantly rejected their offer.
The explanation for his no-show seemed slightly curious as DP Ruto is known for splashing cash during his campaigns.
Jubilee Party team had lined up a number of international and local artists as Jamaican Kenyatta Hill was to curtain raise for Harmonize but ended up performing for almost the entire time at Laini Saba in Kibra.
