Willy Paul has finally assured his fans that he is safe and sound after news broke out that he had been involved in a tragic road accident in Tanzania, alongside his girlfriend Nandy and other top Bongo artists.
” We are still alive. There was an accident but no death reports,” posted Willy Paul on his Instagram page.
Well, we can confirm to you that Willy Paul and Nandy were not in the alleged bus that was involved in the nasty accident.
The bus was ferrying Nandy’s dancers and band members to Sumbawanga where her show, Nandy Festival was to take place. It is reported that the bus rolled several times at a place called Mikumi in Morogoro. Luckily, there were no deaths. Those who suffered serious injuries were rushed to nearby hospitals.
Nandy too confirmed that they were safe and still heading to Sumbawanga for the much-hyped show.
” Kuna taarifa kuhusu swala la ajali lakini kusiwe na wasi wasi. Kila mtu yuko salama. Ni gari lilikua limebeba dancers wangu na baadhi ya vyombo. Sasa ivi tupo Iringa tunakuja na baadhi ya watu waliokua kwenye lile gari wamesafirishwa Dar kwa matibabu zaidi. Tunawashukuru kwa maombi yenu,” said Nandy.
