Residents of Nairobi and it’s environs were left shocked on Tuesday afternoon after a heavy sandstorm rocked the area without warning.
Many, unaware of what was happening had to scamper for safety as the raging winds kept blowing.
The storm which is believed to have originated in Arusha, Tanzania mainly affected Thika, Juja, Nairobi CBD, Westlands, Kajiado and Rongai.

The Kenya Meteorological Department neither cautioned the public on the winds, nor have they issued any statement on the same.
