Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris has pledged to donate Sh 200,000 from her salary to help youth with business ideas.
Responding to a tweep who had asked for a job from her, Passaris said she didn’t have any job opening available but grants to get him self employed. In addition to that, she also promised to provide the youth with business mentors and advisors.
In light of the Nairobi Women Rep‘s tweet, her followers wrote some of their business ideas in the comment section.
I do not have any jobs at the moment. What i have is grants to help you get off to being self employed. The gross salary for Women Representatives is said to be around Sh 600,000 implying that Passaris will now take home Sh 400,000.
