A man and his lover were arraigned in court for screaming during s3x, inconveniencing members of the public.
24-year-old Chacha Mwita and 31-year-old Cynthia Mauhokha, 31, pleaded guilty before resident magistrate Maureen Odhiambo.
The court heard that the three were caught in a building at Makutano, Imenti North, Meru with the intent of committing felony.
The two were charged with engaging in s3xual intercourse in a lodging while screaming hence causing disturbance and inconvenience to the public.
The two accepted the charges after being read to them, but their explanation as to why they were screaming made the court to enter a plea of not guilty.
State prosecutor told the court that police officers ambushed them at Palms Guest House after being tipped by the public about what was going on, including the fact that a witchdoctor was staging a scene to dupe the residents.
According to Chacha and Cynthia, they were told to pretend to be stuck during s3xual intercourse and the witchdoctor, named Magoola Twaha from Uganda, was to free them by magic.
When the police arrived at the scene and heard screams, they headed to the room where the three were only to find them seemingly stuck and Twaha pretending to try to separate them.
Cynthia claims to have been going about her daily business when she and Chacha agreed on Ksh 1,000 for s3x but he only gave her Ksh 400, which prompted her to shout demanding to be paid before engaging in the act.
Chacha, on the other side, said they weren’t stuck as alleged by the police and were amused when they saw a large crowd gathering just outside the guest house. The police were forced to shoot in the air to disperse the crowd.
