Kenyatta family makes a donation the family of Moi will never forget.

Late president Moi with Uhuru Kenyatta
The Kenyatta family has reportedly given money to cover for the burial costs of late President Moi.
According to a source close to Moi’s family, the Kenyattas have reportedly forked out a cool Sh10 million.
Moi was a loyal ally of the first president of Kenya, Jomo Kenyatta. His loyalty goes a long way to explain Kenyatta’s decision to appoint him as his vice-president in 1967.
The late president went on to return the favour when he chose Uhuru Kenyatta and not the Late Prof. George Saitoti as his preferred successor.
Moi who served as Kenya’s second president for 24 years succumbed to a long illness on Tuesday at the Nairobi Hospital.
He will be interred at his Kabarak home on Wednesday, February 12.
