DJ Evolve has been receiving treatment at the Nairobi Hospital after he sustained a gunshot wound on his neck following an incident involving Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino last week.
In the video footage from B Club CCTV, the two are seen casually talking moments before Babu draws his weapon and fires the shot that left DJ Evolve bedridden for close to two weeks now.
Last week, local media reported that the DJ was scheduled for surgery meant to repair his spine but come Monday, it was postponed. He, however, underwent two successful operations, where a bullet lodged in his neck was removed and a blood clot cleared from the affected area.
A close friend of Dj Evolve only identified as Mikey updated a Nairobi tabloid on his condition saying the reason his surgery was postponed was because he developed fresh complications with his trachea.
“Update on Dj Evolve…. The surgery to realign his upper spine that was scheduled to take place on Monday was put on hold after Felix suddenly developed tracheotomy (trachea complications). The lead surgeon has thus recommended for a tracheal surgery prior to the chiropractic adjustment(spine surgery) taking place. Jesus is at the wheel all will be will. Belive. Have Faith. Pray,”
Babu Owino will be in custody for the next seven days as he awaits his case’s next mention on the 27th of January when the court is expected to rule on whether his bail application shall be granted based on the probation report that will be filed.
