Nairobi businesswoman and Bonfire Adventures co-founder Sarah Kabu has delivered a heavy message to Kenyan ladies just a day to the much awaited Valentine’s day.
Through a series of Instagram stories, Sarah, wife to Simon Kabu, said women should quit using men to eradicate poverty and work hard for their own money instead.

Sarah and her husband Simon: Apart from owning one of the most popular tour and travel companies in the country, the two enjoy a significant following on their social media platforms
She added that it is abusive for women to unnecessarily put pressure on men to provide them with a lifestyle that they themselves cannot afford.
“My little sisters, please listen here… Mum used to tell us… listen my daughters ili mkipotea njia msiseme sikuwaambia. I find it very abusive to put pressure on men to provide us with a life we cannot provide for ourselves as women. As much as women are not rehabilitation centres for badly raised men, men are not poverty eradication plans for lazy women…”
Mrs. Kabu currently serves as the Managing Director of Bonfire Adventures.
