Musician Steven Otieno, AKA Stivo Simple Boy is winning hearts on social media thanks to his Monday morning’s handout to vulnerable Kibra residents amid the current COVID-19 outbreak which has rendered many commoners working in the informal sector jobless.
The “Vijana Tuache Mihadarati” hitmaker went door to door, delivering goodies which included among other things, food.

Soon after the images of Simple Boys handing out his donation emerged on social media, netizens took to the opportunity to appreciate the artist’s generous donation.
From the comments, a majority felt that Simple Boy’s giving portrayed and endorsed the message that it is truly the “small” things that matter and in the end make a huge difference.
One noted that unlike many politicians, the singer whose passion for music is admired by many did not brand any of his donations.

Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe this morning confirmed 8 new coronavirus cases.
Speaking on Monday at Afya House, CS Kagwe announced that the number of Covid-19 had increased to 363 cases.
Four of the patients are from Nairobi and four from Mombasa, according to the Health CS.
