Award-winning boy band Sauti Sol has crossed borders to hire a new South African manager after parting ways with their longtime manager Marek Fuchs.
The group’s lead singer Bien Aime Baraza confirmed that they amicably parted ways with Marek Fuchs after signing a new record deal with Africa Creative Agency, an international talent management agency based in South Africa.
“After we signed a new record deal it came with new rules, which is why Marek is currently not our manager. We have also grown because we now have Sol Generation that is supporting other talents too. We will still be working with Marek although he will not be managing our day to day work anymore. Marek is hardworking and we still have him as a brother. Life is about growth and so we have to keep growing. We are currently managed by a South African manager ACA,” said Bien.
Marek has managed Sauti Sol for seven years and has been part and parcel of the group’s growth to international levels. He shared a post on his Instagram to reveal that he had amicably parted ways with the boy band.
“The last 7 years have been an absolute privilege with these guys. Amazing things coming up for Sauti Sol this year. I couldn’t be prouder and more excited. I am now focusing on the new addition to my family, and more about Africa Centric Entertainment (ACE) soon,” wrote Marek.
