A photo of Governor Sonko’s daughter Saumu Mbuvi posing with miraa and wine while seated with a young girl has elicited furious reactions from Kenyans on social media.
The photo shows Saumu enjoying miraa from Meru and with it is a bottle of wine that seems half empty.
The photo was shared by the Governor himself, and Kenyans lashed back criticizing drug use by youths, and even worse by young educated ladies.
Some were keen to know why a Governor’s daughter was carrying miraa while others rebuked her claiming drugs should never be used by women at all.
To make matters worse, Sonko himself is seen chewing some miraa or something close to that while doing a live video. Below is Sonko’s video.
