Former President Mwai Kibaki has left Kenyans talking after he stepped out in expensive black sneakers.
The nation’s third head of state had today visited Parliament Buildings to view the body of the late President Moi.
Despite the somber mood, Kibaki’s style of dressing seemed to have caught majority of netizens’ attention.
Beyond his smart casual clothes, “Obako”’s shoe game earned him countless compliments from online fashion police.
According to shoe enthusiasts, the sneakers bear a striking resemblance to the Adidas Originals: EQT Support ADV kicks worth an estimated €4,995, equivalent to over Ksh. 1.1 million.

Social media users were also quick to note that he was sitting on an office chair which was different from the other chairs that the rest were assigned.
Some are convinced that this was done to provide more comfort due to his old age.
