A man sparked panic after seen walking around with a gun.
Earlier today, police received several calls about a man walking around Asmara, Pangani clad in civilian carrying an AK47 with magazine pouches strapped around his chest.
Police arrested him and took him for questioning and reports reaching us that he told police that he is a police stationed in Dadaab.
It has been established that he is indeed an AP officer who had left his gun at Pangani and was heading to Muthaiga to join his colleagues.
Kenya’s gun rules demand that armed police officers do not unnecessarily display their firearms when dressed in civilian clothes.
