Police have rubbished a suicide note believed to have been left behind by Sergent Kipyegon Kenei, who was attached to William Ruto’s Annexx office.
The letter was found in Kenei’s house at Franca Villa estate, where his body was found lying lifeless on the ground and a Jericho pistol recovered from the scene with 11 rounds of ammunition.

The letter, which went viral on social media, with many calling upon the police, in part reads,
I JOHN KIPYEGON KENEI CANNOT CONTINUE TO LIVE A LIFE OF FEAR ANYMORE. I AM NOT A COWARD AND I CANNOT TAKE MY OWN LIFE. BUT I KNOW THAT I WILL NOT LAST EVEN A WEEK AFTER THE PUBLIC GETS TO KNOW ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS AT THE THIRD FLOOR OF DP RUTO’S HARRAMBE ANNEX OFFICE. I AM NOW LIVING IN FEAR AND EVERYDAY MYSTERIOUS PEOPLE.
The 33-year-old cop was on duty when the Sh39 billion fake military arms deal was being signed by former Sports CS Rashid Echesa and two businessmen.
Below is part of the note

In the note, ‘Kenei’ had wanted his cousin and brother to be called and provided their phone numbers.
But according to detectives, the suicide note allegedly written by Sergent Kipyegon Kenei is fake.
The handwriting is different from that of Kenei’s after they checked his notebooks.
