ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi has responded to President Uhuru Kenyatta over his remarks that he is disappointed in him by joining DP William Ruto’s camp.
Media reports indicated that the President told Western Kenya leaders at a meeting in the State House on Monday that he is disappointed in Musalia for joining the DP.
In response, Mudavadi has told off the President saying Kenyans are more disappointed in him than anyone else.
“You have a right to be disappointed, Mr President. But, Kenyans are more disappointed than you. They are hungry, overtaxed, have no jobs. Kenyans are tired na Tusidanganyane. Kenya Kwanza,” he said
The ANC leader spoke in Eldama Ravine town, Baringo county, where he had accompanied deputy president William Ruto for a campaign rally.
Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetang’ula was also present during the rally.
The two leaders have scheduled a series of joint mega rallies in some parts of the country even as they pledge to work together ahead of the August 9, elections.
After Eldama Ravine, the leaders are set to proceed to Nakuru for a mega joint rally.
They will on Friday tour Bungoma County for another mega rally before proceeding to Mt Kenya on Saturday.
Mudavadi on Sunday announced that he will not work with Raila but embraced the DP promising they will be in one team ahead of the August elections.
