In 2017, a clip of a university graduate who was arrested for cultivating and using bhang in Kiamwathi village in Nyeri county went viral on social media.
In the video, Kevin Mureithi shocked residents when he boldly told police officers that there was nothing wrong with using the banned substance.
He openly praised marijuana saying that it was immensely beneficial and highly misunderstood by many.
Now, six years since the incident happened, a random Kenyan met Mureithi in the streets of Nyeri town and he couldn’t help but share the great news on social media.

Unfortunately, Mureithi has no social media handles and prefers to lay low.
