On a Monday 02/09/2019, footballer Mc Donald Mariga has confirmed that he will be vying for Kibera parliamentary seat in the upcoming by-election once he is cleared by his party.
This comes after Jubilee party Secretary General Raphael Tuju refuted claims that the player will be given direct ticket by the party. He added that the letter making rounds was fake.
Jubilee NEB chairperson lawyer Andrew Musangi backed up Tuju saying the flag bearer will be named on Monday evening after all the sixteen candidates have been interviewed.
