A 27 year old man from Isiolo has shocked many after chopping off his manhood over prolonged itching.
Ashiro Abdi from Isiolo decided to salvage the situation by cutting his private parts using a sharp razor blade. According to the man, he had no other choice than chopping off his ‘transformer’ as the itching had become unbearable.
“That was the only solution i had. The pain was too dire as i had gone to hospital but that didn’t help. There is no way i could have continued suffering yet i had my own solution,” said the dejected man.
According to locals, the man is addicted to drugs therefore he might have been under the influence of some hard drugs when he committed the shocking act.
The man is currently admitted at Isiolo County Referral Hospital where he is receiving treatment and counselling.
According to doctors, the man still has a capability of perform biological functions and he can still sire children.
Here is what one of the doctors at the referral hospital said.
There is no possibility of adverse effects of the injury as the victim still has capacity to perform biological functions. He will be discharged when the doctors attending to him feel he is fit to go home.
