KTN’s new Investigative journalist Franklin Wallah was attacked and robbed by six armed gangsters on Monday night while heading home after checking in at his new work station.
The journalist was poached from K24 in a bid to fill in the gap left by former investigative journalist Mohamed Ali who ventured into politics.
Wallah took to social media to narrate the horrifying ordeal he underwent under the gangsters who had crude weapons. The gangsters took off with his two phones, a watch and money. Fortunately, he escaped unhurt.
“So today after celebrating my new move for my hard work in life just after job, a group of six armed men trailed me upto my place. While I was just almost home, they robbed me at knifepoint, took my two phones, a watch and some money. I pity them for what they have done for they know not. All in all, I thank the Almighty God for I escaped unhurt and life is going on,” narrated Wallah.
Wallah is set to unveil his new show dubbed Jasusi Sugu, to fit in the shoes of the famous Jicho Pevu series by former investigative journalist Mohamed Ali who is now the Nyali Member of Parliament.
