The late Ivy Wangechi’s search for justice might have been jeopardized today following the latest development in the murder trial.
It has been reported that Ivy’s killer, Naftali Kinuthia, has undergone a head surgery at the Moi Teaching and Referal Hospital in Eldoret.
According to doctors, they decided to conduct a head surgery on Kinuthia after they realized that there were some blood clots in his brain.
This was after angry residents descended upon him just moments after he brutally hacked Ivy to death.
Speaking on Friday, MTRH Chief Executive Officer, Wilson Aruasa confirmed that the suspect had sustained serious injuries including a skull fracture.
What is interesting, however, is it might take up to a year for Kinuthia to fully recover in order to be ready for trial which might, as a result, delay the case.
