It has now emerged that Irene Mutaki who recently sued Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka over the ipkeep of their unborn baby is equally a politician.
According to reports, the woman vied for the Webuye East parliamentary seat in 2017 but lost to Daniel Wanyama.
However, despite losing the seat, when continued to support the party and even campaigned for other candidates across the county.
Later in 2017, Mutaki was nominated to the Bungoma County Assembly by Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula but her nomination was later revoked after numerous complaints.
Mutaki took Speaker Lusaka to court for allegedly refusing to take up paternity roles after he allegedly impregnated her.
Through lawyer Danstan Omari, she demanded KSh200,000 monthly upkeep.
She told the court that she has been intimate with the Speaker for more than a year and that the two have in several instances engaged in unprotected sex.
