Following the departure of TV host Anne Kiguta from K24 earlier today due to the station’s editorial policy after a two-year stint, recent reports have been indicating that former Citizen TV anchor Hussein Mohammed will be returning to the big screen.
Taking to social media on Sunday 6th December 2020, Hussein dismissed the poster circulating online terming it as fake and that he would make an announcement soon regarding his comeback to TV or any other platform.
” Please treat this as fake. You’ll hear it from me soon enough whether or not I’ll be coming back to TV or any other platform. Mafans ninawapenda wo…wote, ” he wrote.

Hussein quit Citizen TV in October last year with a rating of 3.6 million viewers every Tuesday night, the highest in the country according to data released by Geo-poll.
His prowess was recognised by President Uhuru Kenyatta who conferred to him the award of the Moran of the Order of the Burning Spear (MBS) in December 2019 on the same day he graduated with a Masters degree in diplomacy.
