Earlier today, organizers of the much anticipated Nairobi performance of Jamaican Reggae-Dancehall artist Buju Banton announced the postponement of the event.
In a statement seen by Uhondo News on Thursday, Banton’s management team said that they were forced to postpone the show following the demise of former president Daniel Moi.
“We extended all possibilities to work with the constraints the promoters faced. It is with great regret to inform you that Buju Banton will not be performing in Nairobi, Kenya, on Saturday, February 8th, 2020,” read part of the statement.
However, the organizers of the show NRG Radio have issued a statement on the same revealing that it has been postponed to 15th February 2020.
