If we had an award for the shortest marriage, I bet Eunice Njeri and fellow gospel artiste Izzo would be the ultimate winners.
It has been three years since Eunice Njeri got married to Izzo and divorced him less than 24 hours later. She is still searching for Mr. Right to marry her.
Speaking during an interview at Milele FM, the gospel singer revealed she’s still single and hasn’t thought of getting into a relationship.
“Yes, I am single and I am not seeing anyone, when I do and the right time comes, I will definitely let you know,” she said.
Njeri made a post of Facebook trying to explain why she parted ways with her then husband of 24 hours, and had this to say;
“On the 27th Nov 2016, Isaac and I did go to the altar to get married. But at the end of that day, I realised one thing: I couldn’t do it, my heart was somewhere else. Probably in Africa doing what I do best; I’m still trying to figure that out. I immediately left for Kenya and have been serving God the best way I know how,” she said.
