Edwin Sifuna, Secretary General, ODM Party
Nairobi Senatorial aspirant Edwin Sifuna intends to lead Nairobi and has started on the wrong footing, or maybe the right one as to be a leader in Nairobi, one must be crooked.
As ODM party hosted its much-hyped NCC, NGC and National Delegates Convention – NDC, a few weeks ago; a section of influencers were crying foul over lack of payment, that they fear might not be paid given that ODM is joining a bigger coalition, Uhondo News has learnt.
According to online sources, ODM’s communication is haphazardly arranged as there’s no single source of information, leaving veterans to compete in the dissemination of information in order to catch the eyes of the top cats.
“There’s infighting among the people managing communication in Raila’s office and ODM party itself. This is why sometimes there are different hashtags and such”, an insider revealed.
As the gangs win, ODM suffers.
The recent survey by Trends and Insight Africa (TIFA) Research firm showed Sifuna trailing socialite Karen Nyamu.
With the issue of pay cropping up, Sifuna’s strategy as a safe pair of hands and a stable party leader might be jeopardized.
Sifuna who is said to have brought sanity into the party, that was being mismanaged by the Philip Etale gang of looters, has begun teaching himself bad manners.
ODM keyboard warriors have been very vocal on the non-payment of influencers in Deputy President William Ruto’s camp, but now the scourge has hit home.
