Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi met with Kibra MP Imran Okoth on Wednesday after parliamentary sitting.
The DP Ruto staunch ally expressed willingness to support the ODM lawmaker which is seen as a good move since the two come from different rival political parties.
” Welcome to the National Assembly my brother Hon. Imran Okoth. I am looking forward to working with you closely as we deliver our mandate in the 12th parliament,” he wrote.
This follows a day after the new Kibra Member of Parliament was sworn in yesterday.
The meeting comes just a day after Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati met with Kimilili MP and reconciled after clashing during the Kibra By-elections.
A section of other MPs came out to welcome him to the National Assembly.
Really emotional day for me to welcome Imran Okoth, the new MP for Kibra, to parliament, and to know for sure that the legacy of my late friend and parliamentary colleague Kenneth Okoth will live on. Congratulations @ImranOkoth and all the best. pic.twitter.com/WGaXqZiHKB
