Diamond Platnumz And Tanasha Donna have been living their love out loud, so it only seems fitting that they put it on wax.
The happy couple delivered their love-drawn single “Gere” track. Gere is a Swahili which means jealous and the two sing about how people are envious and jealous of their relationship and their evil intentions to bring them down.
Diamond wants to know if Tanasha will stay by his side through the good times and the bad.
A ballad dismissing social climbers in the industry, the tight pop gem has been produced by Producer Lizer from Diamond’s WCB label and video directed Director Kenny from Zoom Production.
Fans got to hear this song when Kanyaga hitmaker’s girlfriend launched her EP (Extended Play) dubbed #DonnaTellaEP at the Sarit Centre Expo, about three weeks ago.
The couples floating vocals and the WCB beatmaker’s warm synth sounds are a pretty natural combination. Putting their good image to the side, both artists get a little provocative with this one and deliver some raunchy lyrics for a pop record!
We’re hoping the two we’ll do some more work in the future. For now, we’ll be playing this one throughout the weekend.
Check it out and let us know what you think.
