Dennis Itumbi
The Director of Digital New Media and Diaspora at the Presidential Strategic and Communication Unit (PSCU) Dennis Itumbi and his baby mama have been in a serious legal battle over child support since last year.
Itumbi and her were in a relationship between January and August 2018 and welcomed a baby girl in June, but unfortunately, that relationship ended when the lady informed him that she was pregnant with his child.
The woman took Itumbi to court in order to get the child support payments and he asked for a DNA test which came back and ascertained he is the father of the child.
In a ruling on the case, Itumbi has been ordered to pay his baby mama a monthly child support stipend of Sh 20,0000.
The children’s court also gave Mr Itumbi reasonable access to the child, but the mother was granted actual and legal custody of the minor.
The court also asked Itumbi and Lawyer Dulo to opt for an out of court settlement where the lawyer wanted the court to direct Itumbi to provide a copy of his ID so that his name can be included in the minor’s certificate of birth.
