Dennis Itumbi
Netizens were less pleased with The Director of Digital New Media and Diaspora at the Presidential Strategic and Communication Unit (PSCU) Dennis Itumbi after making comments on the Monica murder suspect Joseph Kuria Irungu, alias Jowie’s case.
After news broke out that Jowie will be spending time in remand until 13th Feb next year, Itumbi took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the news. This didn’t go well with KOT as they were left unenthused despite him wishing that Jowie gets a favorable decision.
Here is a selection of the tweets :
Uko na raha sana Jowie ako ndani lakini ujie Erick Omondi ako nje, draw is a fair game

During the launch of the BBI report in Bomas yesterday, Itumbi was roughed up and thrown out from the dais behind the first layer of Uhuru’s security detail in front of which stood the president, his deputy William Ruto, Raila Odinga, BBI taskforce chairman Yusuf Haji and Tanzania Foreign Affairs Minister Palamagamba Kabudi.
He however downplayed the issue maintaining that he is still working in the Office of the President at State House, Nairobi.
