DCI sleuths based in Kenyenya, Bomachoge Borabu constituency are hunting down on the suspects after a viral video made its way around social media yesterday of them beating a student.
According to the brutal video, it shows a group of men attacking a needy student who went to apply for a bursary at the Bomachoge Borabu CDF Office.
From the background, onlookers are heard pleading with the gang, who are said to be supporters of the area MP to forgive him. The student is accused of campaigning for the MP’s rival in the last general elections.
Earlier today,DCI via Twitter announced that they have launched a probe on the matter before taking action and appealed to the victim to contact them.

Confirming the incident, the area MP Prof Zadoc Abel Ogutu said that it happened three months ago and had sacked the CDF officials involved in the drama.
“Thank you for bringing this to my attention. The said officers were sacked three months ago when the incident happened. On the legal action, the victim should pursue it,” he told Egesa FM, a local radio station.
