Netizens are at each other’s throats over the controversial song King Kaka released over the weekend.
The wrangles have hit a new level as Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi and blogger Gabriel Oguda tried to undermine each other, trading blows over the Kenyan Rapper’s Wajinga Nyinyi song.
It all started when Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi on Saturday reaffirmed to offer his legal services to King Kaka in case a legal battle came up hours after Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru threatened to sue the musician for allegedly damaging her reputation by mentioning her and linking her to the National Youth Service (NYS) scandal.
I said and I repeat..I will give legal representation to @RabbitTheKing against ANYONE who sues him for the lyric #Wajinganyiyi .I'm of the considered view that no one amongst the ruling elites or the masses was defamed. UGLY, CRASS and LEWD commentaries on soceity are PRIVILEGED

Gabriel Oguda retaliated with a furious attack on the constitutional lawyer and his views.
But you represented Waiguru in 2016 when the EACC declined to clear her of these same corruption charges that King Kaka is mentioning in his song. Chief, @ahmednasirlaw a time is coming when you will have to choose whether you want to stand with the people or with your stomach. https://t.co/7JVjS9JJEy

In a quick rejoinder, the Senior Counsel told off the blogger and warned him against provoking him for a spat on social media.
“You must have realised by now that l always ignore the many silly tweets you tag me. Why do you do that? You can find relevance and fulfilment in life without being a nuisance,” Abdullahi said.
Oguda stood his ground and responded: “I wouldn’t have been a nuisance had you practiced what you preached. Your standing with Waiguru in 2016 is what has brought problems to King Kaka now, and I will tell you whether you like it or not. Mjinga Wewe.”
In the song, the award-winning rapper also known as Kennedy Ombima name-dropped several politicians involved in corruption scandals witnessed in the country.
