Famous activist Boniface Mwangi has made some sensational claims that Deputy President William Ruto could be assassinated by the infamous Mt. Kenya Mafia before 2022 General Elections.
In one of his recent posts, the renowned activist said that since President Uhuru Kenyatta has failed to have Ruto prosecuted for alleged corruption, the mafias will take matters into their own hands and kill the DP.
According to Boniface, the team is keen to ensure Ruto isn’t on the ballot come 2022 polls, and as a result his chopper could be targeted or even his food to poison him and end his life.
This is what Boniface Mwangi said;
“Since Uhuru Kenyatta is a coward and he will not allow Ruto to be prosecuted on corruption charges, the Mt. Kenya Mafia will assassinate Ruto.”
“Chopper accident, poisoned meal, or a rogue bodyguard. Saitoti was murdered by Mt. Kenya Mafia to reduce the number of presidential candidates,” he claimed.
On Monday, at least four Cabinet Secretaries from Mt. Kenya region, among them Sicily Kariuki (Health), Joe Mucheru (ICT), Peter Munya (Trade) and James Macharia (Transport) were summoned by DCI over an alleged plot to block Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid by assassinating him.
